So the past couple of weeks, sources have been teasing “unknown movies” being developed over at Warner Bros/DC with an expected announcement at the DC FanDome event in August.
After these rumors started to circulate around the internet, two interesting names for movies popped up.
The first was Zatanna, Ok, let’s be real I’m not too excited for this rumored movie but if it eventually leads into a Justice League Dark movie later down the road I’m fine with that. It also makes sense that Zatanna is the first to get her own solo movie on the mystic side of the DC universe.
The next rumored movie is big, insanely big. It also makes sense and connects with the Michael Keaton rumor of him returning to DC and being apart of the DCEU.
Batman Beyond is rumored to be in development with Terry McGinnis set to join the DCEU, how this is possible I don’t know but DC better give us a good explanation on how Bruce Wayne is now older and a mentor to young Justice League members like The Flash.
The Michael Keaton rumor is also said to be tied into a Batgirl movie with him also becoming a mentor-type figure to her.
These two characters are long overdue for live-action movies, especially Batman Beyond, fans have wanted a movie for him for years and now is the right time.
